2025 Cadillac OPTIQ Preview
The electric division of the Cadillac model lineup continues to expand as we get ready to welcome the Cadillac OPTIQ for the 2025 model year. The OPTIQ will slot in as Cadillac’s entry-level EV, smaller and more affordable than the LYRIQ, while offering dynamic performance and luxury amenities. The Cadillac OPTIQ is coming to Ontario, with production set for later in 2024. For now, follow along with the team at McGee Motors Cadillac here in Goderich to learn what we know about the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ so far.
Size & Styling
The 2025 OPTIQ will be a compact all-electric SUV offering from Cadillac, with room for 5 passengers. The images shared of the OPTIQ so far indicate styling cues that are quite similar to the mid-size LYRIQ, as both vehicles share bold front fascias, framed by thin vertical LED headlights.
Performance & Technology
Information regarding the performance and technology of the 2025 OPTIQ has yet to be released, however, drivers can likely expect that the OPTIQ will commonly share more components similar to other GM EVs such as the Chevy Equinox EV. If the OPTIQ uses the same powertrain as the Equinox EV, expect 210 horsepower and an estimated 480 km of electric range.
